My friend told me years ago how good Koss was and at first i found it hard to believe. But after a while I bought a pair for 49 dollars and was just amazed.
The extra notes and sound you hear at 25,000 is far betters than Beats 20,000, or Ijoy 20,000, or anyone and instead of paying 350 dollars to Beats, you only pay an amazingly low 49 dollars. No kidding!
It might sound like I work for Koss, but no I don't. I'm a guy who does not have a ton of money, but knows when a song sounds better on one thing than another.
All you have to do is try Koss Porta Pros and you will know immediately how awesome they are.
And the lightness of the headphones is amazing too!. I don't really know how they pack all that sound into something that weighs about what a heavy wrist watch would weigh, but it works!
This is the second set I got and the only reason I did that, is that I was riding my bike home and the cord fell out of my pocket and the gears chopped off the end.
However Koss has a 10 dollar fix it program, as far as I know, and when I get motivated I will send back the broken cord ones and get them fixed for the also amazingly low price of 10 dollars!
And Koss sends you a little bag to keep them in, so I am doing that now to avoid another chop from the bike.
Compare all that to when I found a pair of Beats. The headphone band need to be turned a bit for comfort, and the Goddamned thing snapped under tiny pressure from my hands.
Koss has, hiked, walked, biked, bounced and jounced with me for years without a scratch, till that bike incident.
If you like music PLEASE give Koss Prota Pros a try.
My friend has been using them for MANY DECADES.
He's now 80, and they were cool back then too.
Timeless.
