Bargain of the century.

These on-ear open back Porta Pros are extremely light, have strong clamping force, and very good sound, with a wide soundstage, darker high end, surprising bass extension, and excellent fast/energetic midbass. I love how simple they are: just a 3.5mm plug and that's it. If I know that I'll just be able to listen to music for a few songs while I power through some spreadsheets or scripts, these are my go-tos; they are easy to put on/remove -- try taking IEMs out quickly! -- and the open back design lets me hear people in the room, or alerts coming from my computer.

Koss Porta pro

Koss Porta Pro Black are the best headphones I have ever owned. Love using them at the gym. Read about them recently in the Wall Street Journal, and remembered them from the good old days. They're as great now as they were back then.
