I prefer wired headphones for listening to music but needed something Bluetooth for going to the gym and working outside where cords are cumbersome. I already own a pair of Koss PRO DJ 100s and love the sound so figured I'd give these a try. First impressions out of the box I was thinking these things are so lightweight they can't be any good, was I ever wrong ! Pairing was easy first up put on some old school Yes to test the headphones out and was blown away, good sound stage, stereo separation is excellent. Lots of balanced sound nice crip highs good mids and full bass but not boomy or muddy at all. Overall I'd rate the sound excellent 9 out of 10. I put them through their paces by putting on everything from Beethoven to Classic jazz, synth wave and 80s it all sounded phenomenal. The Koss KPH7s punch way above their price in terms of how they sound. Comfortable on the head easy to use controls, battery life is excellent and fairly good noise isolation. Thanks to the engineers and design team for doing a great job on this product.

Just got my KPH7's delivered yesterday. Put them through various test tracks to get a feel for the audio reproduction quality. First, while this should be obvious, these are not studio/reference class cans. They are, however, surprisingly (or unsurprisingly if you are a KOSS aficionado) great inexpensive headphones. The build quality is "light" and certainly not on par with something like the PortaPros, but, certainly not bad in my opinion. Build feels like something I don't mind tossing in my bag without its own protective case. Will they break, I don't really think so, but if they did, they are very accessible pricewise and I would not hesitate to replace them with another pair of the same. These are going to be great for pairing with something like my Steam Deck or just my phone to listen to music with perfectly acceptable audio quality. I saw another review describe the sound as "tinny" and I have no idea where they got that from. Sound is full, mids are surprisingly clean, and highs are just fine without being harsh. Soundstage is not the greatest, but again, for the price actually quite good. If you are looking for something to use while leaving more expensive options at home, I think these will suffice. If you simply need something that fits your budget, I don't think you will be disappointed. Light, comfortable enough for extended listening sessions, inexpensive, and really great battery life. I will recommend these to anyone looking for something under $40.
